Mount Robson Provincial Park - over half a million acres of Canadian wilderness

Canoe Mountain Resort encompasses approximately 2,500 hectares of terrain on the northwestern slopes of Canoe Mountain, the most northerly peak of the Malton Range in the Monashees. Located just 8 km south of the village of Valemount, BC (an hour’s drive west of Jasper, AB), Canoe Mountain is a true beacon, reaching 2,653 m skyward in majestic glory.

Highway Connections
Via the scenic Yellowhead Trail (Highway 5), Canoe Mountain Resort is 295 km north of Kamloops, BC. The city of Prince George, BC, is 325 km to the west along Highway 16, while Jasper, AB, and Edmonton, AB, are
101 km and 525 km to the east, respectively. Just north of Valemount, Highway 5 meets Highway 16.

Air Transportation
Valemount’s 4,000-foot paved runway accommodates private aircraft, and the airport’s projected additional development includes a 2,000-foot extension of the runway as well as a widening for aircraft as large as 727s.
